My Valentine

This valentines day was quite memorable. I went on a date with my girl. She is the best girl any guy can have but alas she is also a Scorpio, she is possessive to the core. She won't let me out of her sight and she gets very jealous of my other social commitments but I don't mind for without her I won't be able to live, wont be able to eat; I would wither away in misery. Life would have been more easier had she been more likeable by my family and friends but I can live with the fact that you can't have your cake and eat it too so I choose to be at her side at the ire of my loved ones. I have managed to live with her shortcomings and shall continue to do so; Everybody calls her a bitch, I call her 'Work'

  • Jesus Christ, Alexis you make me sound like some sadistic, old disheartened man which could not be further from the truth... if I may ask what gives you the feeling that I am not keen on a relationship or that I disown the notion.

    Yes, I disown the notion of having a relationship for the sole purpose of sleeping with the female as is the case with most relationships right now, its more sexual than emotional.

    I definitely want Ms. Right no doubt about it, family will always be my first priority but right now I am concentrating on my work as this is the perfect time for me to make some good money while I can.

    and since you bought up the topic alexis, you are now my personal matchmaker, find me a girl who is sweet and homely yet sophisticated... someone with whom I can have an intelligent conversation with..someone who can give me a warm hug.. someone classy yet not arrogant like me.. try finding someone who fits these characterstics and while doing so you will find the answer to my single status.

    Valentine's day ... brings up a lot to talk about every time it is around the corner ... Work - the ultimate Val ... *sigh* that was the case with me too ... but I made the most of it - at least I had a lovely day - so, I'd like to think.

    As for your comment about the Ms. Right - for the perfect man ... the perfect woman obviously isn't here. There's no 'Perfect Woman' - wasn't she the imperfect one who bit the apple? Agreed.

    Then again how perfect is the man who shared the apple? Beats Me! Till date he shares the bed and says, 'She seduced me.' The perfectly imperfect man.

    Woman - is always found out and accussed and put to shame - she always bears it - she exists in a foolishly perfectly hellish life - where every perfect arrogant man insults every breathing living woman as just not perfect enough to be his - and if by some cruel twist of fate he does find any one of those many women to be 'worthy' of him and his 'fidelity' she needs to be 'grateful' and 'subserviant' and ... 'loving' to him for every thing!

    Having said that, I'd like to add - I'm no feminist. And I believe - woman has to be the one who needs to beware. In a world where 'one night stands' 'Live ins' are 'acceptable' - its hard to come by a person who is 'old fashioned' - so as to say!

    Sophisticated yet old fashioned ... there are quiet a few - just open your eyes. And a word of advice - match makers usually end up with the potential matches you might wanna match up with -So if you wanna match, find yourself one :-)

    For what its worth ... With all due respect - You are 'Intriguing' - Perfect ...??? I'm no one to judge. As for me - I'm a Woman. I appreciate a good conversation ... reading your blog is one :-) See ya

    Read ya comments online now n couldn't stop laughing well If u r looking for a perfect woman i guess u have to find the lady eve who is ready to eat the snake rather than the apple as then u could stay in ya perfect Garden However working is not still advisable on many occassions All work n no Play makes jinu a ...... Have to compensate for that U see However not only were u working so Was I n one thing I have realised is that Qatar is a Dry place no great activities here n hardly any guys who has some sense of fun :P:P
