Taming the tiger.
There are many reasons for the falter of Bal Thackeray and Shiv Sena, the predominant reason being nepotism. The heir to the Shiv Sena throne should have been Bal Thackeray's nephew Raj Thackeray and not his son Uddhav Thackeray. To incite a crowd, oratory skills are the only prerequisite but for proper governance, administration sills are a necessity which the shiv sena sorely lacked.
The bottom line here is that Hindutva doesn't sell. On an average every Hindu is tolerant and secular in their outlook. Its not that I'm against the Shiv Sena just because I'm a Christian and the Shiv Sena is a Hindu Nationalist party. The truth is far from it, I despise the Shiv Sena for their lack of vision and tolerance. They indulged in corruption at the highest levels; which is evident from a multi million dollar fake stamps scam and I'm cheering away at the scene of the congress skinning the tiger.

Hate to say this mate, butmost Hindus are communal, cloaked in a veneer of civility and secular credentials, which are thrown away once they get an opportunity to murder and maraude! Remember Gujarat???

Actually, the self-proclaimed 'Hindu Hriday Samrat' is Narendra Modi.
And what can one say about Bal Thakrey, except that he is going senile.
